My A/C condenser has a hole in the seam :( = No cold air   for this weekend. They're ordering a new one. The toyota lead tech said that it looks like a manufacturer defect.

37K miles and now this. :-? I guess it could always be worst.

Anyone else run into this issue? I'm probably alone on this one.

Lates,
Michael

So Toyota is covering it? If not, I can go kick some butt at TEMA headquarters. LOL

How hot is it there this weekend, Michael? We're expecting 100 degrees and high humidity here in Minnesota, of all places! I blast my A/C full blast on a regular basis. I would not survive without it. I feel for ya, man!!

It's actually not so bad past few days. We've had lots of Thunderstorms and it's cooled things off, but the humidity is really bad right now.

My 2006 SLE A/C condenser had a hole in a seam last month when it was brand new. The refrigerant leaked out shortly after I got home from the dealer.

LOL!!! You're dead on the money on that one Chris. After my trip that day of 107 degrees w/o a/c, I had the z out with the top down. It was so nice.

Haha, nope, it's actually the other way around...lol. She's got another one that is a daily driver.

However, she does drive my lara from time to time.

Just a little update...

Car was dropped off this morning and they replaced with new a/c condenser and they found another leak (lol) from another line and now they have to order another part, so still no freakin' a/c. It's been way too hot here to not have a/c. Guess I'll be taking the 350Z roadster tomorrow. 8)
