Window Stop Fell Off
So, after about a year and a half or so with no problems, my Solara goofballs up. The window stop on the passenger side door fell out of it's place. This caused my window to lean forward, causing there to be space between the seal and the window in the front, and the rear half of the window to roll up too high preventing the door from shutting. I had to roll down my window to shut that door. It sucked. Luckily though, my car was still under warranty & the local Toyota dealer fixed it without any problems.
Or so I thought. I drove from Gainesville to Orlando tonight (about a 2 hour trip on the highway) and I could hear wind noise. Apparently, there is still some gap between the seal and the window. I guess I'm taking it back to the dealer on Monday. I was told by the service advisor that this happens quite often. So, I guess the real point of this post is to ask if this has happened to anyone else.
