most of the problems that we have experienced withthis 1st year car are stuff like rattles clinck buttons not working ect ect.

We havent had many issues with major components yet cause the car is so so new thats why i left this out of the general polling section.

Id like to know how happy everyone is withtheir service so far at the dealerships.

We tend to hear alot of bad stories but im sure there are lots of happy cusomers that come and go without complaint.

Myself I dont have any rattles left drifts that have been addressed to the dealer my roof farts but i can tollerate that till the next il change ( coming probably in sept) so right now im going to answear satisfied although i think the service and parts dept needs a lesson on customer courtesy, the sales guys are great those guys are a bunch of grumpy dudes.

I love my dealer, ever since the day of purchase.

5k service was outstanding, my service advisor was ready, and willing to listen and was very helpful.

I've already taken my '04 to the dealer 3 times for maintenance, just took it in for the 20K interval service. The only complaint I have is that the tire pressure light comes on after each tire rotation. Other than that, I am very satisfied with my '04.

I have no issue with the fact they are willing to do everything I tell them and I believe they do try since I have seen the fact they dismantled my insides. I have an issue with the fact they cannot resolve the rattles and sunroof issue. They then damaged my interior and left the overhead console loose because they took it off and on so many times. My next oil wil address that issue. They have replaced the damaged pieces, but I am still unsatisified with how many times I have visited, the carelessness of the techs, and the unresolved issues despite the many visits! So dispite their willingness, I still gave them a horrible rating based on their lack of competency and pride in their work.

I've had HORRIBLE service at one dealer, where I USED to buy my cars. Since it's the closest to my house, it's convenient, but I doubt I'll go there any more.

Although the first 3 haven't happened in the last year, my recent experience is that nothing has changed:

1. 1990 Corolla with a lot of miles. Complained 3 winters in a row of no heat or minimal heat. They adjust the ductwork, say it's fixed. Finally, after the 3rd time, I took it back and THEY asked ME if the temp gauge was moving. I said it was close to COLD. They said "Well, why didn't you tell us that?" After discussing it with the service manager, they didn't charge me for the installation of a thermostat.

2. Same car, 60k service. It's supposed to include cleaning the battery terminals. Well, they didn't and the very next day the car would not start because of all the corrosion to the battery terminals.

3. 1996 Camry wagon, 60k service. Same as #2!! Except this time they DID service the battery terminals: by spraying over the existing corrosion!!

4. '04 Solara, problems with drop top. Main symptom: sudden onset of severe wind noise on driver side. I pointed out the broken tension cable to them. They say they don't hear any noise and adjust the latches. I urge them to take it to their upholstery shop for a look-see. Sure enough, broken tension cable. Need a new top because they can't find a repair part in their system! I urge them once again to take it to MY upholstery shop and they make a $400 repair instead of a $4,000 replacement.

Bottom line: this one dealership sux when it comes to service. My advice to everyone: only go to the dealer for warranty work. Otherwise, find a decent independent shop.

My dealership SUCKS for service, as a matter of fact, I am there now getting an oil change, and thier 30 min. or less gaurantee, is now 59 minutes or less, so here I sit and wait. The sales people rock, but service BLOWS!!!!

My 1st experience wasnt that bad I suppose. I simply hate to be looked at like a fool just bc Im a woman. They give you that "You dont know squat" face. Blahhh....I moaned and complained, like only women can do, and got a free loaner car out of the deal. My dealer doesnt offer them but I proceeded to chew his ear off til I got my way.....I think the next time I go in there, they will take me a little more seriously.

Well so far yes and it's been only four months since ownership, but ask me the question in a year. Dealership is actually pretty cool. I am just pissed at this idiot light that keeps coming on Yes I am talking about the tire pressure light. It's a major pain in the azz. That is the one thing they should have left off this car.

You would have to drive right @ 68.49 miles an hour 24x7 for a year to do 600k...don't know why I had to figure that out, except that I'm on a boring conference call, LOL.
