My day has come!

Anyways, I brought this up with the dealership. Apparantly the catalytic converter is so effecient it produces this smell. Frankly, I wish the thing was a little less effecient. He suggested changing gasses, as many stations put sulpher in their gas to winterize it (and save money). I've used "Plus" gas from Exxon, BP, Shell, you name it. Problem doesn't go away. Oh, and you aren't the only person smelling it. The smell is actually outside of the car, which is why it is strongest when stopped. It seeps in through open windows and the AC if it is venting. Also, everyone around you will be smelling your nasty car and hate you for it. Whenever friends follow me somewhere, they always complain about the terrible odor they smelled the whole trip. So, your car is actually emitting this smell as you drive. You simply don't smell it. Sucks for everyone else! Nice job Toyota!
