I'm sorry if this topic isn't directly related to the Gen 2 Solara, but is directly related to this forum and Gen 2 mostly. Being an owner of Gen. 2 and since this is where I spend most of my time with the same people here, I wanted to express my gratitude to a bunch of class acts. Coming from a board like 3si.org where you would get flamed for pretty much anything and even things you would never in a million years expect to get flamed for. Here, I noticed the moderators step in and close the post when any sign of a negative siituation that may arise. I haven't seen much of that here. I see alot of enthusiasts who just want to listen and learn without being know-it-alls. There has been plenty of disagreements here, but from my experiences here so far, people handle them like mature adults and therefore make this a nice forum to be a part of. Just want to express that since I have seen the other end where the board was full of pompous, know-it-alls who was just looking for a fight. Also, where the moderator would stick up for someone even though he clearly started the fight, defend him because they are buddies. I don't get that feeling here at all, and I truly think it is a combination of good moderation along with just a group of classy guys and gals who just want to learn and share their experiences.

Yep I gotta agree. This is the only forum where I do not see flaming and bickering all over the place. Even when there is something negative said, it is done constructively and not taken to heart. I hope he doesn't mind but I have an example, I told Michaels Artic Frost that I thought his wheels were a little too bling, but rather than throwing a hissy fit, he thanked me for my opinion, which was not meant to harm in the first place, and just expressed that he liked the bling!

it all has to do with the type of person that buys a toyota. yes they tend to be more mature because buying a dependable vehicle comes from making a more informed and educated decision. the younger consumer tends to go for flash and speed first and then they complain that their ride is falling apart. on the other board i belong to its just one long high school cafeteira rank out session. im glad to be among adults for a change.

:D I think this is the best Forum I've read. 'Cause the people here act very very mature minded. We have a lots (thousands) of opinions here but everybody take this opinions as a positive means to learn and improve. This goes beyond our cars, it is becoming a society. :D

Overall most of the people here are pretty laid back. The only flamings I see are generally when there is a gross rule violation or some newbie starts acting like a jerk.

What's up yanges? Thanks for the praise. Actually I had the wheels done through a chrome exchange company. I am a custom kind of guy since I don't like driving what everyone is. I like to put my own little touches here and ther eto make it my own.
