Interior Lights

Postby cklinh » Fri Jun 04, 2004 6:13 pm

Did a quick search and didn't find anything that was specific to the Gen 2. So here goes...

planning on replacing the interior lights (personal and dome) with blue bulbs... found this site

http://www.sylvania.com/bin/carApp/carA ... a&x=28&y=4

that's supposed to provide the bulb sizes. In this case, it's 3175 for Dome Light and 168 for Map Light. Are they the right size? I got them off ebay, and they don't appear to fit... the 3175 seems too short to fit in the "dome" light (that's the one in the center right?)

And how do I open the personal/map light cover to put in the bulbs?

Thanks.

OK, answered one of my questions... the bulb I got for the dome light was 31mm (1.25 in) while I needed 39mm (1.5 in)...i believe both are 3175's.

As for the personal light bulbs... I'm fairly confident that I have the right size... except I can't get into the light to change the bulbs!
