you want to pinpoint where the sound is comming from.

it may not be the winshield at all, but have a friend put slight pressure on the winshield to see if that's creating the squeak.

it may be something else.

Well try to pinpoint it but if it's same squeaky sound than most of us had or still have (I had that for months on my previous Coupe '04, not in the Convertible), is from the dashboard, exactly in the gauges area, try pressing it when hearing sound to see if it stop.

i've got a couple squeeks... but nowhere near what you're all talking about.

both my doors are a lil squishy so they make noise if your knee is against it. also my seatbelt strap holder thing squeeks only once in a while, but does it alot when it feels like it.

damn, I just noticed rattling from the rear pannel which houses the speakers...I guess that is what I get for bumping my JBL's all the time. I guess I really don't notice the rattling because the music is always on but yeah, the rattling is not pleasant.

I heard rattling from the rear deck, and got it fixed at the dealer when doing the 5000 mile service. THey put more padding under the deck. No more squeeks and rattles from there.

thanks for the info. I'll take my car down to the dealer to get the extra padding as well. It's covered under warranty right? did you just tell the service advisor that there was a rattling...and they simply said they will put padding?..I'm just making sure because I really don't like the service advisors at the toyota dealer by my house. thanks

I told the service guy there was rear deck rattling and to fix it. I think I told him I heard it needed more padding. When I picked up the car, he gave me a line that they looked at the rear deck and discovered the factory had put less padding there than normal for Toyota and they added more padding to fix it. Guess they never admit they just messed up. But it is fixed and that's all that is important. Just tell him you know others that have had it fixed by the dealer putting in more padding and to do the same. Tell him the Internet web forums are invaluable. ;-)
