Carputer Troubles

Postby louie » Fri Mar 12, 2004 3:35 pm

I started setting up my Carputer with a MiniItx PC and an LCD. However I found that the LCD running off of the 12v cigarette adapter started to lose too much power and became scrambled. I would be interested to know how everyone decided to power their carputer and LCD.

Thanks

To me, the logical thing to do if your "carputer" is a permanant install would be to splice the power from your radio. This is normally what you would do if adding an eq, etc.
