Interior Lighting

Has anyone put in any interior lighting in their 04 solara's?

I am thinking of putting in some lights in the front and rear footwells that would tie into the dome light. IF anyone has any info on how this could be done than I would appreciate it.


I will be doing this no matter what and after it is completed I will post pics and a how to but it may take a while because I am in the process of moving right now.

Does the SLE come with interior lights? If so where are they located?

I put in 16 Varad Led's almost in the same area you might be looking for, the way i did this was i tap the wires with a relay (depends on the ampage you need) to the door switch with a bypass toggle switch so i can turn it on while the door is close. when you open the door the lights are on and when the door is close the lights are off. with the toggle switch its self explanatory. hope this helps ya
