The other day when pulling into my garage (note that I have been parking in a garage for 3 years) for some reason i wasnt paying full attention and heard this loud CRUNCH/SCRAPE noise. Make a long story short...i hit my passenger side mirror on the garage rail :bad-words: So i got out and looked at it and it wasnt bad just a little scraped up...all the way down the fiberglass LOL (if thats what the mirror's made out of). So i figured yeah this sucks, but no biggie. So later on, my friend pointed out to me that the the mirror was actually pulled back and i also couldnt open my passenger side window. :bad-words: So now i was a little more concered. Anyways... brought it to get an estimate and he told me toyota sells their mirrors already painted and ready to put on so it would be $180 plus labor. OK. Brought it to get done, he took the old mirror off, had to bang out (well, bang in) where the mirror bolts go through because it was all outta wack, and then hadto adjust the rail of the window because i pinched the mirror so tightly against the window it "bent" the window rail. Any-who...i was charged $180 for the mirror and $25 for labor...i thought it was a pretty fair deal (he worked on it for about 45min)
~Just felt like sharing a story that doesnt have to deal with Left-Drift and Rattle

Sounds like they treated you pretty well. I banged up my mirror on my previous Solara and Toyota replaced it too for almost the same price. It also took some work to get it all right but I was treated great and it ended up done well. Nice to finally hear about some good dealership stories for once here, right? If you think we have a bad left turn issue, just check out other forum sites like for example Acura-tsx.com. Makes ya feel good about this car.

Time to fess up about the REAL reason you hit your car. Did you see the neighbor's wife looking like that signature pic at the time??? Man, that's sweet. :shocked!: :lilangel:
