I'm not surprised to hear that your cars do well in the snow. I've never driven my gen1 in the snow, but with it's heavy front weight bias and FWD it's set up pretty well.

No, the Solara has never come with a limited slip differential, but you can get aftermarket ones. I read in Car & Driver that the lsd that comes with the new Acura TL actually increases the torque steer, which I found surprising. They usually reduce it.
