Man, that's alot of wrecks. Given the data I've seen, I am really impressed with the laras. No fatalities, let alone major injuries translates to well built safety cages.
I'd say upgrade, not downgrade coz your luck might not be as good on your beater.

Yeah the RSB is crooked from what I could see. Sorry. I managed to pull my headunit and subwoofers from her before the insurance went and took her. I'm keeping those though. :D Still waitin to find out USAA's decision and how much they'll give me for it. I expect like 9-10k. What do they normally base that on?

I always thought they based the value on the Kelly Blue Book.

It depends on the insurance company. USAA goes by the Actual Commercial Value at the time of the crash. Which would be $11.5k. I about break even +/- a few hundred. I'm lookin at tryin for the tC again or maybe a older S2k. Heck maybe even a STi if I can find one cheap enough. ;)

Common misconception, I think certain insurance companies did back in the 80's but no more. Unfortunately, insurance companies today have come up with their own market value system. And figuring it out is kinda like figuring out how credit bureaus calculate your credit score--impossible.
