Do our cars come with glass break sensors ? or is there an add on to the oem alarm system, without fully getting another alarm system put in

Some stock alarms come with the glass sensor. Mostly the VIP systems though. I'm not sure about the gen 2's.

its the VIP system from toyota
its an addon for the oem alarm

the stock system only goes off for forced entry

thats what i figured , any idea what the model number of the stock security system is ?

The TVIP V2 (or RS3200 Plus) is part#: 08586-06990 that includes the whole system plus the glass breakage sensor.

Just the glass breakage add-on is part#: 08586-06980, it comes with the breakage unit, mount, microphone and wire harness.

Oddly enough I have installation sheets (*.pdf) for both but my 'Lara didn't come with them, PM me if you want them emailed.
