Convertible Roof Leak 2007

Hello,
I just bought a used 2007 Convertible.

While driving during the rain (with the top up) my passenger was getting dripped on. I traced the problem to the front edge of the top. Basically on the passenger side the top is coming to rest on top of, rather than behind, the lip on the part above the windshield. The drivers side is fine.

It looks as though there is just some small thing that needs adjusting.

I took it to the dealer I bought it from and they tried to fix it by turning the latch hook to make it seal tighter. But the roof on the passenger side is still too far forward to make a good seal.

The "service end" of the dealership then indicated that this might be a pretty major adjustment, requiring it to be sent out.

I'm just concerned that by going through a huge process for something so small they may make the problem worse.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank-you in advance

If you just bought the car from that dealer and request to fix it. Then why not let them? Demand that they pay for it and this is ridiculous that I bought this car and im already having problems. Seriously have them fix it and pay for it including the rental. It will work.
