to reseal mine i heated them up again(in the area that i took apart) - the original glue reactivated...but about 10 min later i used clear rubber silicone...no problems so far - headlights did survice chicago winter without the car being garaged and no leaks/water/fog inside so far

Also, if they got dirty from the inside and you're breaking the seal to clean them, what did you do to prevent them from having the same problem in the future?

You can also buy replacement headlight sealer. I think nissan used to sell it.
