Leather seats

As you guys read I had a minor fire on my rear seat. Well I went looking for replacement seats online and found a complete set of seats front and rear in leather for $650 shipped. The only problem is that its the light grey color.
Do you guys think the light grey will look good on the SE Sport black interior?

isnt there a way you can dye the leather to black to match? i think it'll look a bit weird if you left it that color

Did the fire torch'em up that bad that they cant be repaired? IMO the grey seats would look a bit off in a black car. Im sure $650 would be plenty of money to fix the burned part instead of buyin all new seats.

It would certainly be unique. I guess it's up to your tastes. Take some pics, do some photochopping and see what you think.

yeah they make leather dyes, but you'll never get it black black, and dyes wear, so over time it would fade lighter. If your looking for that leather look, may i sugest black leather seat covers? It might be a better match for what your looking for.

Personally I think it would look good. I was rocking black cloth seats in my tan interior for about 2 months before I put my tan leathers back in.

In a black interior the lighter color IMO looks better as a subdued lining. You don't want it to be trying to take over the interior. The seats would be a good chunk of space for the lighter color.

If you are looking to go Grey, and your rear foam is still good I have a set of Dove Grey leather Katskin OEM style covers that I bought These will replace you cloth seats. You just take the cloth OEM covers off and install these guys. I thought I was getting Tan but they sent me gray. It would less that half what you would buy the seats for. PM and let me know what you decide.
