2007 turn signal blinker - too quiet

Postby RedrocketGEM » Sun Sep 14, 2008 10:12 am

My 2007 Solara has a blinker click that is just too quiet for me. the local dealer (San Jose, CA) has replaced it, with the same results. Toyota customer service was NO help and the complaint is a old one with a number of complaints already on the books.

Anyone out there done anything about this??

Thanks

I'm not sure what the dealership and customer service told you but they are REQUIRED to put in the same soft sounding Toyota OEM blinker that they replaced--they don't want to void your warranty. Also, I doubt there is another 'Toyota approved' blinker available. Sorry.

If a Gen1 and a Gen2's blinker module are interchangeable (I don't know if it is...), did you want to swap yours with mine? IMO I think mine is a bit too loud.

Really? Your the first person I've hear of wanting a loud turn signal. Sounds like you'll need a custom mod.
