Sequential Shift not resetting to 1 when come to a stop

Hello all,

has anyone had any problems with this? or do i manually have to shift the automatic sequential shifting back to 1 when coming to a complete stop?

I'm about to purchase a solara and thats the only thing i noticed wierd with the car. other than that it is a PURE GEM.

If lets say you were in 4th gear while driving in sequential and you came to a stop with the "4" on your speedo the car wont start off in 4th gear. The car automatically shifts to 1st gear when u stop and WILL continue to change gears automatically up to 4th gear, then the 4th to 5th shift is on you.

Same would apply if you were in 2nd gear and stopped, the car would shift up to 2nd gear from a dead stop, then the rest of the shifting would be on you..
