If your headlights are too foggy, use 1000 grid sandpaper,
and go to 2000 grid if you want.
After PlastiX again with your hand or use a orbital machine to polish them with PlastiX.

I have this product for 6 months and love it, I restored 3 cars with it. I removed the all foggy yellow from an old "geo metro", it was shinny again..I was amaze. This week-end I will do a 2000 hyundai accent from a girl friend who need it.
try to post some flix before and after to see the finish

I have some pics on my thread...

Headlight Sanding

BTW, some kit I purchased recommended straight up and down, then left to right sanding (NOT CIRCULAR) until the previous markings from lower grade paper made in the other direction.

Also, I believe the most important part is to use a machine polisher...using your hands will frustrate you (takes too much elbow grease on bad looking headlights).

Well my headlamps and fog lamps are just "foggy"...it's not even yellowish or anything like that...can i just directly sand it with a 2000 Grit sandpaper, apply Meguiar's PlastX & then use Turtle Wax Liquid Ice to prolong the shine???

It looks great! However, if YOU are not satisfied... just do some more with an orbital polisher.

If you think they can look better, THEY CAN! Just don't overheat the headlights in the process.
