i notice when it is hot yeah it makes the EERRRRRRTTTT nosie when you open it, but when it is sliding back its fine

on cool days, its fine, like 70 or below, or if the car has not been in the sun. i figure it was just the gasket.

anyways, just wondering if it is something that REALLY needs to be fixed! :drinking:

HAHA. that is exactly what it sounds like. "EERRRRRRTTTT".....lol. Anyway, so i havent brought my car in to get it fixed as well. Would this problem be covered under warranty? up to 100,000km correct?

If the moonroof cables need replacing and not covered under warranty, how much would that be to fix?

Depends on your extended warranty coverage... probably not.

But you might get shot for digging up such an old thread on here! ;)
