I know that this was discussed somewhat before. Has anyone come up with a fix for the "dents" than accumulate in the driver's side door armrest? Has anyone had it covered (no pun intended) under warranty?

When I purchased my '04 (pre owned) the armest material (I don't know if it's leather or faux) was badly stretched and wrinkled.

The fix. Wet the armrest then dry with a hair dryer (don't get carried away with the heat) smoothing out the dents and wrinkles as you go. The material will smooth out fairly quickly.

I left the material a little damp and next day the armrest looked much better, just a few small waves but much improved. If the technique works for you then great! If not you haven't lost anything and the investment is zero.

Cheers
