it should save u some gas, and by that i mean a very very teeny amount.

it should also help u on the 0-60 number, but it will be too small of a fraction of a second, in other word, nothing that anybody will ever notice if u swap ur 4 speed for the newer 5 speed


Oh, I would never swap it. I love 4-speed automats, they're so straight and long :) though, more gears - more performance.

ok i have the I4 and um mine looks nothing like that just a regular park to drive with the S option, push the stick to the left and under the S is a digital readout of the gear your in.

thats because u have an 06+ solara
the 04-05 gen 2 came with the 4speed no tiptronic....
this was mentioned somewhere in this topic.....
