both of my interior door panels formed small bubbles and not that they have popped, the trim began to peel off. is there any recall regarding this poor quality. and does any one know if you have any extended warranty if you are leasing your car. i did not know that the warranty is only 36 months, my lease is for 42 months. please let me know if you guys have any info on these issues.
thanks

Xo,

Recalls are for safety related issues so not terribly likely for a door panel. :)

There 'might' be a service bulletin or factory authorized repair for your problem though. Stop by your Toyota dealer and ask. Be prepared, someone 'might' ask you what kind of cleaner(s) you've used to determine whether chemicals caused the problem.

Here's the bad news. Your warranty length and items covered should have been included with your new car package. With my car (gen2) it's a booklet separate from the owners manual, the nuts and bolts of the warranty are in the back of your owners manual (supplement page iv for my car, could be different for yours) so, unfortunately, there's really no way you can use "I didn't know" as reasoning to try and get a repair made.

Cheers
