Stereo won't turn off

Stereo won't turn off

Postby FLUXEMAG » Tue Nov 14, 2006 1:40 pm

Ok, so I get to work this morning, turn off the car, get out, notice that my stereo is still going strong. My ipod is charging, the satellite radio is still on, the JBL stock headunit is still going, the three digital readouts are on...WTF? I have the keys in my hand standing outside trying to lock the car, it locks, but the music keeps on playing on and on. Hmmm. Anyone heard of this before?

I had to disconnect the battery so it won't be dead when I want to go home tonight.

Well, when I was messing around with my amp, I flipped a switch called signal sense, that must have allowed the capacitor to keep the accessories connections going. All good now.
