Is there an outside chance that you have a stone in a tire which is making the clicking sound??

Perhaps so, my old mx-3 had this problem badly due to bigger wheels. Although I'm not experiencing any issues with my solara (knock on wood)

scLara626...you may want to have it looked at.

did you recently lower your car?

It might be your Strut bearings

^^Would they have to be replaced, if this is the case?

I lowered mine about three months ago, and now I get the noise mentioned here. I just turn my steering wheel (while moving or not), and I hear it coming from the where the struts are.

i thinks its the cv joints or cv boots them if there is any cracks or leaks. If your pass 100k then most likely cv boots.....

am not sure what it is? but i had a similar problem with my accord back in the day, i ran into a huge dip speeding. I got it fixed, but the solara isnt leaking stuff from the axle like my accord. So im not sure it is the axle? what are the symtoms? for the axle or cv boot or any other thing that might be the problem?

oh and my car wasnt recently lowered or anything. Been drooped for close to 3 yrs now. nad i was in a huge accident and got a whole new suspension a 1 1/2 ago. So i think if anything was messed up during the installation of my springs i notice it. But i do rememeber a thread here a while ago about a noise coming from a front spring after ur car gets dropped with trd springs, and i had hat but it seems to have went away

well ur warranty does cover driving axles, took it in today. There gonna replace my sunroof, regulators on my D/P windows. My axles seemed ok , they said its coming from the spring, and i do have trd springs , but it never ever sounded like that. It sounds just like an axle?
