What do you mean, Toyota doesn't participate in the lemon law? Doesn't everyone have to participate???

SilverSurfer: go here for lemon law info for Wisconsin=> http://www.yourlemonlawrights.com/state ... consin.htm

Go here for info on how to find an attorney => http://www.yourlemonlawrights.com/wisconsin/index.html

The lemon law is a federal, and Toyota has no opt out of it. Read the first link...I really think you sould pursue this.

I thought silver cars had higher resales than other colors. I remember i did a "what is your car worth" thing on kelly blue book and played around with it a bit. I think it was worth maybe 100 bucks more than most other colors.

I could be wrong though...

Took the beast in yesterday for an oil change and asked that dealership to check the starting problem out. They said that the wire coming off of the battery (HID power wire) was causing the problem. I told them that the HID system was added less than a month ago, so that is not the problem. They then proceeded to tell me that they cant look at the car because it has "Illegal" headlamps in it, and they cannot drive it. I have NEVER been to this dealership before. Can't seem to get a break anywhere.

This is DEFINATELY my LAST Toyota!!

So why did you add an HID kit to a piece of junk? If I had that many problems the last thing I would be doing is altering the stock components.

It doesn't make any sense to add a high voltage device to a car with a starting problem.

Agreed. But that does suck. Its only HIDs though, so switching back to stock shouldn't take a whole lot of work.

Still, thats totally crap of Toyota. Sorry man.

You should have gone to an autozone or napa, bought the cheapest H11 hallogens you can find, then gone back to the dealer and ask them whats their excuse now???

Ive had the HID kit since I bought the car, It was sittin on the floor in my house, collecting dust, and I can see much better with it. There's a good chance that the POS is being traded in Saturday on a 06 G35 Coupe, if they give me close to what its worth. If not, I'm going to get the legal process going again...
