Are Your Rubber Strips on Top of Roof Peeling Off

Postby geminiz » Wed Dec 21, 2005 8:01 pm

I was filling my tank with gas the other day and happen to look on top of the roof and notice that on each side there is a black rubber strip.
I notice at the end of the strip it was sticking out on top of the roof.
I compared the other strip on the passenger side and that one is fine.
I go back to the driver side and found out that it is only held on by the groove with a notch for it to hold its place on the end of the strip.
I tried pressing down on it, but it will not stay.
I don't have time to really check it out until the weekend.
Does anyone here notice this on their roof?
Will warranty cover this?
Thank you for your help.

The rubber strips are really cheap.... they are only held on by each end.
I was able to lift most of it up to the other end, but didn't want to make things worst, so i left it alone.

These strips should come in a chrome finish kinda like the Nissan Maxima.
I wonder if Michael T. can do something about this.

Merry XMas and Happy Holidays!!!
