Hi guys and gals!!!

New to the forum and Toyota product. We just got our Solara SLE Convertible!!! It's awesome!!!

I'm looking to accessorize the car. I have not found a good site that sells accessories for cheap or fair price.

Acura has a dealer that sells Acura parts for our MDX at near cost. Is there any Toyota dealer doing this?

Thanks for the replies in advance!!!

welcome!

I picked up my 06 ragtop in August...only has 2200 on it...keeping it inside during the NE winter.

Take a look here:

www.toyotaparts4u.com. You may also want to periodically take a look at ebaymotors

Good luck with the new convertible!

The acura mdx website is acuramdx.org. Pretty good website!

If you do a search for "got dubs" you will see our sage brush MDX.

Plus, if you are thinking about installing H11 HID's, then you can see some good pictures of my before and after pictures on the H11 bulb installation. I plan on installing HID's on the Solara in the near future.

Sweetest ragtop on the road! Wish I could keep mine in during the Chicago winter. Anyway... good choice, welcome and enjoy the new ride!

Hey... since I've got a couple fellow ragtoppers here, could someone take notice of how many miles you get on a tank? Check out http://www.zer0.info/solaraguy/viewtopic.php?t=14661
I think the ragtop design may be different with the trunk rework for the top storage. Maybe all the ragtops do this. The coupe guys looked at me funny. Perhaps the gas fill pipe takes a sharp turn in the ragtop.

Not sure if I'm a good reference since I only have 2200 miles on mine. Mileage should improve as I get a few more thousand on it. I've checked it a couple of times and I'm only seeing 22 to 23mpg. I've been driving it conservatively for the most part and 90% is highway. Of course I had to air it out a few times :D

fyi...using 89 octane...today I filled up with 93. I'll let you know what I get but it may be a while. Today is only the 3rd time I've had it out since the snow started to fly in New England.

Online, that's a really sweet pic of your car. Better color combo of black top with red than tan top.

Thanks Slingshot...I definately prefer the black with dark stone interior on the red. Artic White with Tan is a great combo.

picture was earlier morning catching a sunflare to the upper right corner of the frame
