So if there are holes and adhesive, isn;t there considerable body work involved in shaving? I love the look but don't want to screw up the paint job .,..

yeah.. it's the new type stuff that replace the old style which hanging under the car and touching the ground.

i'm not sure where did the electronic shock come from, but it does happen very often when u touching metal stuff during super dry day.
it's not like super crazy 1000volt shock, but it's very short and ANNOYING enough to make ppl feel "shocked."

that thing is not hard to install... i actually screw two screws under the trunk lid, and the screw has to remove alittle paint inside the trunk to touch the car's body (ground). but it's inside the trunk, and only alittle pin size paint has been removed. i don't think it really matter that much.
