Has anyone experienced a hollow plastic knocking noise coming from either the drivers side door or dash when going over bumps? This is an annoying knock that kind of resembles a wire harness bumping up agaisnt something made of plastic. I've taken the car in for the rear thumping noise, which they finally cured, and this noise was kinda second on the list. It took them 2.5 hours for the rear noise and they told me they need ed more time to diagnose the front noise because they would have to take the dash apart.

Doh!! I should have read your post farther down. Congrats on getting the thump eliminated. I hope it stays that way. Good luck with your other problem and please keep us posted as to the progress. You R Da Man.
