well, as a past owner of a Coupe 2004 SLE and now a Convertible SLE, I can tell you that driving in same roads, so far Convertible is giving me more MPG than I used to get with the other one, about 1 MPG more.

Sorry for reviving such an old post.

I've been checking my mpg with each tankful of gas. I never use the computer to tell me - it's eye candy, nothing more. Anyway, I've taken a couple of long trips with the car, but mostly do city driving. Actually, I was getting the exact estimates of 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, give or take one mpg.

Now, here's the twist. I recently installed a K&N air filter, and I've been reading that there's a minor mpg jump with it. When I last filled up, I was impressed that I got 23 mpg in all city driving, up from the usual 21 mpg. I will continue to monitor my mpg and share the results.

Just thought I'd share this info.
