TC is terribly low geared - the result is that you will be getting the same highway mileage as V6 Solara (29 mpg) (much smaller & ligther car with much smaller and less powerful engine and the same mileage ?!?)
And what about the engine whining at 4000+ rpm just to cruise with 75-80 mph on the highway ?
Come on...

Supercharged TC

If you are going for the I4, get the TC with the supercharger option. Still less than the I4 Solara.

In my opinion, the Scion Tc is a slick little coupe. I looked at one briefly while I was shopping for my Solara. It has nice lines, a well-done interior and a solid powertrain for its price range.

I think one of the BIG selling points for the Tc is the amount of aftermarket and TRD parts that are already available for it. You already have a nice AM & TRD parts selection including a TRD supercharger waiting for you as soon as you buy a Tc.

I'm really disappointed and kind of upset that the gen 2 Solara is lacking so far behind on TRD parts compared to other Toyota models. Its almost like the Solara is the "unwanted stepchild" of the Toyota line. So what's the problem here? :-?

I've studied and researched really long time to decide before these two

tc or solara se sport v6

after I test drove solara v6 se sport, I felt the late response of the auto transmision NO manual for v6, cornering really bothered me.

after i took tc out for test driving and i bought tc...

but I still love the way solara looks beautiful lines and looks very luxurious

if you are more into comfortable cruising car, get solara
if you wanna play with a car(crazy trd parts) + saving money. get tc

Damn, the Solara looks pretty good in Solar Yellow. This car needs more bright color combinations.
