I barely noticed that my alarm doesn't work! I tried testing to see if it worked by alarming and locking it with the windows open. i open the door from the inside, and it didn't alarm! Reading the manual, it said this was how it should be tested. off to the dealership once again! :x

there is a delay in the alarm arming of 30 seconds.
after you lock it, wait for the light to go from steady to blinking, then try opening the door. it should go off, if you have a toyota alarm that is.
