Has anyone blown a fuse underneath the steering wheel. I got the car used and it was blown, couldnt find the fuse at any auto store, I had to go to the dealer and he didnt even have it, he had to order it and said it was the first time he saw one, lol. Let me know if they sell them anywhere or if you had this happen to you.

Its all those mini fuses under the steeringwheel, in that fuse box. The fuses arent like the normal mini fuses that you see though, its a new type. I went to autozone and advanced auto parts and both places have never seen therefor didnt carry the fuses. The fuse that was blown was the 15amp cig lighter and the fuse looks like a mini without the "metal fangs" that come down, at first i thought it might have broke off in there but that wasnt the case. Check them out under the steeringwheel if you want, I guess its just another scheme from toyota to have to go to the dealer for a part. Not that I dont like toyotas, I own one, but the hondas ive had in the past, Ive never had to go get a special part that wasnt available elsewhere.

ohoh! yeah, i got my fuse blown too. um, that's dealer parts only.
u can only get it from dealer. it's like mini fuse, but it's alittle bit smaller than mini fuse. however, if u in such hurry for fuse, u can use mini one for temperary. it fits!! u just can't cover it anymore. that fuse is little more expensive than regular fuse also. i guess it's cause Genuine Toyota parts....
