There is a sensor in the top-right corner of your dashboard that controls auto-on. You can pop the sensor up 1-2" with a flathead screwdriver. I always planned to put a switch on one of the leads to the sensor. It'd be nice to temp auto-on when I'm in the garage or places like that, but I never found enough information.

Unbalanced - he was referring to a sensor which determines if its nighttime and automatically turns on your headlights. Different than the DRLs.

I heard that the stereo comes with a code to program it if the battery is taken off, I'm guessing for anti-theft purposes. Is this true? And if so, are there instructions on programming your stereo?

simple. remove top 2 screws. remove 4 screws once you remove the black bezel-thing.
pop out the unit slowly then unhook wires, remove the spedo cluster all the way.

turn it around so the rear is facing you.
replace the 5 bulbs (green base) bulb size is 194.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
