You answered my questions as I hoped. I did the Independant Fog Lights and the Under dash illuminated entry with manual switch at the same time, it took 1 to 1.5 hours to complete both but I needed to run to the store for a couple items that I thought I had but didn't. Thanks to you and bassthrive for such great tutorials. I'm working on a tutorial now that might be of some interest to some people and once I get it figured out I'll post it up.

The Gen1.5 should have the same wiring as Gen1; not much has changed between the 2 except for more cosmetic things.

Cardomain is currently down for maintenance. Once it comes back up and I can snag the images, I will host them elsewhere and update the original post.

You can get started by removing your kickplate and the plastic underside of the steering column. You'll need a philips head #2 and a 10mm socket. And also remove the little plastic triangle by the left foot stomp, and then unscrew the white panel that has the Fog Light Relay (FLR), because you will need to get behind it. If I could remember the wire colors you won't need the tutorial. I'm pretty sure that you need to find the thinner blue with red stripe wire under the steering column and splice a wire from that to a constant ground. This will provide a constant ground to the FLR. The headlight system controls both the positive and the ground to the FLR, so at least you can get the grounding taken care of.
