How to disable your DRL (the right way)

It's in the upper left hand part of the engine bay.

After that, just unplug the dash sensor, and you are set.

It should work every time if you unplug the dash sensor.

^ i'm just asking if your check engine light or any error codes come up when unplugging this. remember every time your vehicle gets turned on the computer checks everything to make sure everything is running and working so by removing this no warning lights come on?

just an update and MY opinion.. when u unplug the gray plug it will disable the 24/7 day time running. but WILL come back on at dawn which i dont mind. but i think ima still cut the red/blue wire in the morning just so i can run my HID fogs without turning on the head lights

also if u wanna run JUST ur fogs at night. just put it on high beam. head lights will go out unless u have hi/low HIDS but this will only work with the fog rely mod

Okay so after reading through this entire post and searching through the website, Im just a little confused on how to unplug the grey plug in the top left if the engine bay like Ruski said. Do I unplug the inside plug behind the metal plate that says "Hot, No hands" or is it the plug before that nearest to where the strut and springs are? And how do I unplug? Im having troubles figuring out how to unplug it. And then i read about the night time sensor on the passenger side, how do i pop it up to unplug that too? Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.

Here. Hopefully this will end the six year old thread.

For my car you will need to:
1. Unplug that grey plug
2. Inside the dash there's this dome thing sitting on the passenger side near the windshield.
You will need a flathead to pry the base up and disconnect the sensor

Tada! As simple as pie
