I picked up a grille recently that was said to be a Renova, not sure if it really is though. When I installed it everything lines up fine but I searched here for info and remember someone saying the tabs are supposed to be covered and not show like the stock grille. Don't mind the pics they're from my cell phone and the mesh is only temporary till I have the time to put in something else, it didn't come with the mesh and this is just wire mesh I had laying around.

how can you tell if its a genuine renova?

I've no clue thought someone on here would know more. As much as I like how it looks, up close the tabs kind of bug me and I don't want to cut them off. I'm thinking of just spraying it black so it's a little less noticeable, I was just wondering what grille it is.

i see lol i think a thinker mesh would make it a little better?

It kinda looks like the Sarona grille I bought, just spray those tabs black and you won't ever notice em' again. I did the same thing

Yea, I sprayed the tabs black so they're not as noticeable now.
