Let the summer projects begin!

So yesterday I finished my school semester and i'll finally have some time to work on my car!. First of all, these bad boys been sitting in my garage for like 2 months! Installing them this week!

Image

Oh, and I'll be getting some new wheels. I'm looking for a set of those, which I'll plastidip them all flat black!

Image

Those are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with +38 offset. You guys think I need spacers to clear them from my struts? I'm renting also an Eastwood fender roller and will roll and pull the crap of them! We'll do it on my friend's 300zx TT also.

Posting pics soon!

Ps: I'm also looking for some 350z stock wheels but can't find them no where for a decent price:(

^^ kk do you think it's clear the front though? How you guys like the wheel that I'm looking to buy?

Anyways today I plastidiped my front bumper and lip. As you can see, they needed some love from the stone chips and scratches.

After:

The result is not uniform but I hope they'll even out when fully dried!

Just curious, do they have white plastidip for my white bumper? I'm ready to commence some summer project activity on my car as well. Gonna slam it w some coilovers , roll fenders, new wheels, modify front bumper, modify grill, lip kit, new paint....

^^ Yes they do have white plastidips. Go to dipyourcar.com and see!

After spending the last week in vacation in Mexico, I'm back for some real business! Today I installed the coilovers and bought some new wheels. I need some 215/40/18 tires ASAP but can't seem to find any. Wheels are from a 2012 Genesis coupe, 18x8.5 front and 18x9 back, +35 all around (didn't confirm yet).

stay tuned for more!

No worries about the pics, it is teaser mode for now :)

On a side note, I just realized with the Ksport coilovers it's a pain in the ass to adjust heights. I have to take the coilovers off to adjust them :S

Here's some updates..

Rolling fenders with an Eastwood fender roller that I rented for 30$. And that's my dad's ES300 behind.

Image

And then, I got the tires installed on rims! My summer mode is ALMOST done. So only teaser pics for now!

Image

Next to do: Lower the car more, alignment, put the wheels matte black, yellow film tints for fog lights, take off the VHT nightshade from my corners and cover them in black tint. Stay tuned!
