My story in a nut shell:My name is Brandon and I live in South Florida. I originally had a 96 Lexus es300 with a 2mz-fe. It had to many problems, so i got rid of it. I now have a 2000 V6 se fully loaded with 68k miles. The Solara will be my 1st real project car since i never got a chance to mod the lex. The car currently have some minor issues: few scratches on the body, discolored passenger fog and headlight etc. I will get to those issues in due time.As for now I am trying to get some of these parts out of the house and onto my new baby. Stay tune!

Previous Car:

Obx racing headers and 3inch catback installed 9/12/11
The rear header was a b*tch even with the sub frame lowered.

I bought what appears to be an unused trd lip kit for a really good price
It even came with original mounting accessories and trd decal still in trd packaging.
Pic with the kit installed 10/17/11

Near Future Plans/ To do list

Replace passenger fog and headlight
Tint fog lights yellow
Install that thing with the Trd logo on it :D
Install safcII and Tein s tech springs

Looking good! How does it feel with the 3" OBX exhaust?

I might be rolling up to midnight madness at PBIR next weekend...not sure if I will make some passes but if you are interested in going let me know.

Thanks. I might be down to ride out. Couple other Toyota owners having a meet this Saturday and we might be hitting up County Line Dragway after let me know if you wanna come out. Obx 3inch exhaust sounds nice but I might have lost a little power on the low end. I am looking forward to see what times it will run on Sat. I think you know Gino with the camry coupe he will be out there 2.

I have a paint correction to perform on a client's car on Saturday and that usually runs anywhere from 5-10 hours, so if I'm not too tired after that I'll definitely pass by.

Thanks. Yup 5speed and loving it. Coming from an auto 1mz-fe, it's a big power difference.

Didn't know you paint. My car need some correcting. If you come out, maybe you can give me an estimate.

Update

I recently installed my trd rsb and a stage 1 exedy clutch kit. Car shakes like crazy when taking off in first, it's a little better now but still shakes.
I am hoping it just needs to be broken in.

Here are some crappy cellphone pics from the rsb install

Image
Took the trd sway bar off this car and swapped it with the stock one, then sold it hours later

My car waiting for her trd rsb

Side note: It was a bitch swapping sway bars while on the ground. Took me about 15mins when I put the car on the lift.

Next I will be getting a high flow cat welded onto my OBX headers, installing my tein springs and maybe put my s/c on that's been sitting in the my closet.

What you guys think of this cat?

Good to see you are still modding. What did you do with the lip kit that was on the gunmetal solara?

I sold it to a member on here. How's the car? Do you have anything planned for it?

I have the same one in 2.5" with OBX headers. Only had it for about 8 months, but doing great so far. I too had it installed because of the smell (and noise).
