Anyone own reverse glow gauge faces? Need tech support

I have a set of rare TRD white faced reverse glow gauge faces for the 5 speed Gen 4 Camry that I got from Gabe. They were made by Initial K, which doesn't exist anymore.

The problem is, they don't light up. I'm no electrical engineer, but I do my fair share of wiring.. and I've tinkered with it as much I can to try to get them to work. I think something in the controller box is malfunctioning. I would really like a way to bypass the controller altogether, even if it means I can't adjust the brightness. Problem is, I have no idea how I should go about it.

I'm also thinking of buying a set of reverse glow gauges on eBay and hoping that control box will work for my TRD gauges. They do look veryyy similar. The only difference is in the number of buttons on the control pad. The set I have has four buttons, two to switch between Blue and Green, and two to adjust brightness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to get this sexy TRD gauge set in my car!

You can just order a new inverter (the black box) from ebay. I did this for a buddy's prelude on a set of NR brand gauges and it fixed the problem. Comes with a new dimmer knob as well. I think it was like $10-$15.... Good luck

My gauges light up blue or green, but i hard wired mine to light up only blue and i cut the wire that goes to the dimmer and plugged that into the back part of the gauge cluster that controls the dimmer for the factory dimmer.
