keep an eye in the for sale section, you might get lucky and find one used thats already your color. i have not been so fortunate yet... my car is silver and gen 1 kits have come up for sale in silver but the gen 1.5 (2002-2003) have a different shade of silver on them. i believe i read on here before somewhere that your looking at $1000 to buy it and have it painted. install cost i dunno, take a pic to a local body shop and ask them for a estimate for paint and install.

haha that proves my point. there is a gen 1 silver kit. the issue is that its not the same color (silver gen 1 vs. silver gen 1.5) so to look right it would still have to be painted. beyond that, (someone correct me if im wrong) you can't put a gen 1 kit onto a gen 1.5 car. however, the gen 1.5 kit will obviously work on the gen 1.5 but also the gen 1 with slight mod.
