To tint my corners... all i have to to do is clear coat them..and use the VHT nightshade can?

i used vht and a cear coat and it turned out a lot better then my tails did.

I've got Niteshades on my corners and tails, nothing over it–no clear. I do notice it has faded in the 1.5-2 years it's been on the tails.
If I had a ton of money that I wanted to throw at it, I would do tint instead, but only because it won't fade.
I can always clean the lights and reapply the Niteshades if I want.

As for clear, I might do that if I felt like it at the time. One advantage is that you can polish the clear coat and not thin out the vht.
I'd say your good to go if your spray can skills are up to snuff. Be patient and take pics for us.

I've been asked about my corners. Mine were black housing corners to begin with, so no smoking necessary. I wanted a JP-inspired look, so I then had a buddy spray a diluted amber and several coats of clear over the lenses. Looks great a year later.
