What's up y'all,

I've been checking on rims everyday for like 2 weeks, I found some 18 inches (coincidentally also on a Solara) that I will go check and probably buy on thursday:

http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-autos-et-ve ... 208714831#

They are 18x8.5 with 225/40/18 tires. I know they are wide and the guy doesn't know the offset but told me that he put 5mm spacers so they won't rub on his solara. I am not lowered and technically if I put 5mm spacers they will fit too. But I plan to lower the car soon. So if I'm lowered, what setup do I need (which spacers? camber? fender roll?) ?

Update: Offset +45

Thanks y'all

Tell him to measure the offset so we know what we are dealing with and then we can help you...

I guess the offset is +45 according to Fast Wheels website, since it's either +45 or +38

http://www.fastwheels.ca/component/page ... Itemid,62/

So what's do I do? Fender roll? Camber? Spacers?

Thanks

ive rocked +45 offset on my previous wheels, and yeah when you lower the car you will need to run at least 5mm spacers, and definitely roll your fenders.

well thats the problem my old wheels were only 7.5 but they were a +45 offset maybe with your set up since the wheels are 8.5 you will probably have to run a bigger spacer but you might run the risk of your lug nuts not grabbing the way they are supposed to.

Either way give it a shot i would say a 5mm spacer would be ok
and you shouldnt need it in the front, just the rear.
