So whats my best bet on buying front lips for my 2001 SLE V6 Convertible DWP?

Can I retro fit Lexus front lips to fit?

If so, which year & model?

Is used the best option?

How many different mfg's made front lips that fit my ride?

What are their names? I know of Molly.

Molly no longer makes the TRD lips.
The company that bougth the mold from molly is Kaminari (sp)

They sell the kits for the 02-03 Solara Gen 1.5. However if you search the forums you will find that the Gen 1.5 lips fit with very LITTLE modifications. The look the same but the curve is just slightly diff which is why it fits so well.

The Gen 1 kits are very rare to come by.
Kaminari does sell the kits in individual pieces so your best bet is to contact them.

I don't think there is any lexus lips that are direct bolt on for the solara. However some have used lips from others cars such as the Acura CL front lip with some modifications.

the Gen 1.5 TRD kit is the best fitting kit for the solara unless you want to buy fiberglass kits available for the solara that don't really go with the car's lines.
