Rims, and Rims.....

Rims, and Rims.....

Postby SleeperSolara » Wed May 19, 2010 2:22 pm

I'm on the look for some new rims.
I was thinkin' about the XXR 521's, but the rims have a step lip.

^^
I'm not a big fan of the step lip.......

So I remembered that Tenzo-R had the Meister.
I'm not sure which to choose.... I can imagine the rims on but not sure what color..... :-?

Here's the all flat black:

Hmm.. so ya I have some black ones very similar to those you posted. MSR-045 18's
Image
I like them alright but I wish I had gotten something with a lip to it like the Tenzo black or bronze w/polished lip above.
Although I do like the mesh pattern and I think the red pin stripe adds alittle flavor to it. Hopefully not too tacky..
But it is kinda bothering me cause if the lip was a polished chrome it would match with the emblems, grill and TRD muffler I just got much better.

Ya id say if you want to keep some of the emblems you have on there which are silver and then if you're going to leave your grill silver then your car is also white, then id go with the bronze tenzo. Personally I dont like black on white that much. I like black on mine cause its a darker green but if it was me and my Solara was white id either go bronze, silver or white.

The flat black is jus too solid for the white paint, The black with polished lip is alright but seems like too many people choose those, but the bronze wheels look pretty sick and would look great with white and give it a more unique look! Go bronze! :new-alien:

I was looking at a set of xxr sportmax 962 in gold and found a really cheap place to get them at discounttires.com. If you are shopping around they had the cheapest prices. I did a google search on the company they seem legit and have good reviews.
