It's really not so hard. Basically you have to bend the gauges to get it around the needles. They look great with a brushed aluminum bezel btw.

I been looking for a clean and simple gauge cluster for a while and finally found the one I will settle for. All the other clusters was to busy for me and a little ricey in my opinion. These are the one I just ordered. ^^^^^
Can't wait to get them in. Once I do receive them I'll add a TRD decal in the middle cluster. So, when it glows at night it should light up with the TRD Logo.

-put the steering wheel on lowest position..
-remove two screws holding the plastic bezel around the cluster then pull that off
-now remove the screws holding in the cluster
-pull cluster from the top forward towards you...unplug the green plugs behind it
-move it around until you figure out the right angel to get it out of the dash
-on the backside of the gauge cluster you will see the tabs of the plastic frame in place...just remove the tabs from back side and the plastic frame comes off easy
-once you have access to actual gauges just take the screws off the front and put them aside for a second
-take the new gauge face and slide them on over the old ones. thats right! the old ones don't come off
-then put screws back on.
-replace the plastic frame over the cluster...wires may give you a hard time closing the lid again since now its a tight fit, so you can get a box cutter and cut the plastic a small bit to give them passage space (hope this makes sense to you)
-plug the new face wires together and get your positive "red" connected and black negative connected
replace everything else you removed earlier...and your done! (green plugs only fit into the same port they were removed from so be worried about plugging them in incorrectly)

no, they're attached permanently. You have to bend the gauges around them to put it on.
