HELP with my Toyota Solara Gen 1.5 HIDs

Postby xDeAdDrIp21x » Wed Jan 27, 2010 1:32 am

Hello I'm new to the site.
I installed my O.Nex HID conversion kit to my '02 Solara and turned on my headlights and my HID's didn't turn on. :( I don't know what else to do, then connecting them and trying to turn them on. I heard that i have to disable my daylight lights and have to change a couple fuse's? help would be greatly appreciated.

u may have it plugged in reverse (so + and - are mixed)
that seemed to be a common problem when first installing

Well, I must first suggest that you do hids the right way and retro an OEM projector. I am doing that right now on an 02 solara and Im going to be doing a comprehensive write up.

Second, if you are set on using a pnp kit, check the wires and grounds for any looseness. Check the plugs as well like kingkakyle said.

I'd be willing to bet that the polarity is reversed on the power input on both of those ballasts.

and +1 to introducing yourself.
