ok guys i have my springs in my room ready to be installed just one question though, for some reason im still not convinced about these springs if the dude who sold it to me just sold me stock's, because theyre all black just like the stock ones and they dont have any logo on the spring it self. The only thing different is that my stock springs have a blue and green paint on it and these are yellow paint in the rear and pink paint in the front. My question is if anyone knows what the measurment for the stock spring is and what the measurment is for the TRD spring?
can anyone help?
[b]update:
Heres some pics of the springs guys let me know what you think, i hope i didnt get screwed over. i just think they look too high for them being lowering springs.

well this is the box they came in:
Image

The front spring is on the left and the rear is on the right, they look to high im almost sure theyre the stock springs:

Stocks are black ones in the center...front is on the right..rear on the left. Don't have measurements, but at least you can see the shape..etc. If yours look any different (like the orange Megan springs here), they are NOT stock.

The TRD springs for the Solara should give a 1.25" drop in the front and 1.75" drop in rear so reference those measurements with the stock ones. Hopefully you didnt get played

the green and blue paint might be from the markings to ensure the correct location of the spring to the strut...they usually mark the outside of the strut and/or spring when replacing the unit...so the markings make it easy to quickly know the outside and inside of the strut for installation...

you can google "strut marking location" or follow the link

hope this helps...

I have the stock springs at my office. Measure them top to bottom. Tell me which is which (left or right in your pic). I'll get back with you tomorrow with the stock measurements.

i had the original trd springs and they are black but have trd and the part number on the spring in white. the original trd springs do look alot like the stock spring but are like and inch or so shorter i think.

Considering you have the box, logic tells me if they fit in the box then they cant be stock because the stock would either fit very snug/tight or wouldnt fit at all in the trd spring box. I just measured my rear TRD springs (for 99-03 solara) and they measure very close to 13 1/2". In case you're wondering, I can't measure the fronts because they're put away. If no one else gets it to you, I will try to get them for you but my front are for the 97-01 Camry (it is TRD though).

On a side note, I hope you didnt choke ur friend yet lol.

ok i measured the rear of the springs and they measure 13 1/2'' close to 14, and the front measures 13 1/2" (but i measured it two ways i measured it from the top where the coil meets the middle the closest and it measured that but when the coil is at its farthest it measures exactly 15

ill post pics in a little while with the tape measure on the springs so you guys can see what im talking about.

Ron:
On my pic left is the front which is 13 1/2" depending which way you measure it, and the right is the rear and that measures 13 1/2" close to 14.
