Project: Renova Grille Done!!..now car in progress see PICS!

Hey guys!
I decided to make my own renova grille...wish me luck!

basically i began by cutting around the whole stock grille for Gen1 using snips
Image

Then I had a bunch of small pieces of plastic sticking out around entire grille...this was toughest part. I had to use a knife/ blade to cut it all off, but before that i twisted all of them shorter to make it easier. Must have patients for this...believe me

Image

Now i applied body filler to the bottom portion of the grille so that i can sand it smooth to get the same look as the renova.

OK thats all for now but will post more when complete...

U would have got a cleaner/smoother cut with a Dremel and a thin cutting disc.

X2 That's what I used to cut mine.. A dremel with a heavy duty cutting wheel. Only took about 5 mins to get it all cut and sanded.

Dremel

I know it would be way better and a lot easier with dremel but I don't have one handy right now..my friend does but he wasn't home today.
I'm going to sand it tomorrow and put the mesh on...Definately agree with you guys though
